-----------------------------------------------

Sweet ticket
Sweet Ticket is just an instrumental introduction with Cello, military drums and others. it is a very typical instr. song.

Shinku No Fatarythm
a slightly fast-pace song that is only 2:51 in length. i think it is a nice song, but Kanon Wakeshima's song sounded alike... so, yeah.

Kagami
i like the introduction and the... 3rd verse or something? the part at the back.

Still Doll(album vers.)
man, i had always like this song. it was my first Kanon song that i heard. it was rearranged a bit, but it sounded the same.

Maboroshi
her singing sounded a little different here, right?

Ennui Kibun!
this is rather a mo-e song O_O, and it's very different from how she usually sing.

Suna No Oshiro
this is the original song from her previous single. i have to say that it's one of her best song. i like how the cello was arranged and the tension in the song. it will make a good contemporary dance(laugh).

Monochrome Frame
Monochrome Frame sounded slightly different from the above songs. the typical Cello playing was replaced by other string instrument(violin or viola?) and there is more depth, and there's more backup vocals.

L'espoir - Mahou No Akai Ito
the whispering backup vocal was sweet P_P. i like songs with them. the rhythm has greater impact.

Kuroi Torikago
the front part was plain instrument playing... and i think it dragged a bit too long?

Skip step turn
one of the first few songs i heard from her. but after listening to more of her songs, i find them similar, so it's kinda difficult to get interested in them.

Shiroi Kokoro
piano was a good start - clear and smoothing. i like the combination of her voice with piano and cello.

Sweet dreams
somehow, i like the way of starting the album with 'Sweet ticket' and ending it with 'Sweet Dreams', kinda for no reason .__. . but this is definitely a verrrryyy nice melody to be played in a musical box. if there's any musical box with this melody.. i'll definitely buy it *__*.

i'm not a professional music artist and neither an A*star student for english, so my comments maybe no good or whatever, it's all what i felt as a listener(and a normal grade student =.=).

the following may sound like insults to Kanon Wakeshima's fans, so please hold a neutral heart before you read them =.=.

the more i listen to Kanon Wakeshima's songs, the more i feel that she is really fortunate that her debut as a singer is smooth. what is selling - her dolly looks and lolita image, her cello skills, and of course her voice - true enough, they're selling. but maybe to only die-heart fans. who doesnt like lolita image(erm, for those who doesnt shut up =_=. and if you dont, you wont even listen to her songs right? more reasons for you to shut up =_=. lol.)? these 3 factors together had already captured the hearts of otakus, anime lovers and lolita fans.

but somehow, her songs only revolves around cello, violin, and her sweet voice. her songs sounded similar and i kinda lose interest after listening to the album.
i wonder if it will change when her next single/album comes along, but unlike bands which have vocal/keyboard/guitar/drums/bass and pop singers who sings several genres and dances, how different will it change for an artist with lolita image and cello? not much, perhaps.
